Haute Cabrière Chardonnay Pinot Noir has become firmly entrenched in the hearts and homes of wine lovers in the country and beyond, thanks to a lifelong commitment by Achim and his team.
Following in the footsteps of the 2015 vintage, the 2016 Chardonnay Pinot Noir reveals captivating aromas and flavours, exceptional smoothness and seamless integration of acidity and fruit. When asking Takuan about the new vintage he replied "2016 was an incredible vintage. Our vineyards produced less than the normal amount of grapes, however the intensity and concentration of flavours show in the wines. Notes of citrus and melon on the noise are typical of the Chardonnay blend, with the structure and broad mouth feel of the Pinot Noir, creating a truly unique wine.
