Fleur du Cap’s Unfiltered Pinotage 2014 has been chosen as one of South Africa’s best Pinotages at the 20th annual ABSA Top 10 Pinotage Awards.

As part of Fleur du Cap’s Unfiltered range, a superior selection that has been produced for nearly two decades, the Unfiltered Pinotage 2014 perfectly narrates the winemakers’ efforts to capture the wine’s natural style that is unique to the Western Cape. ‘Unfiltered’ refers to the process of racking the wine after fermentation resulting in rich, complex fruit flavours.

This is the second ABSA Top 10 Pinotage Award in the Fleur du Cap portfolio and the wine producer’s dynamic team of winemakers are pleased to be recognised for their hard work and dedication. “Awards like these are important platforms and showcase our winemakers committed passion for producing excellent wines”, says Fleur du Cap Global Marketing Manager, Tanya Blokdyk. The Unfiltered Pinotage has also been rated four stars in the Platter 2016 edition.

Fleur du Cap wines have been produced at Die Bergkelder in Stellenbosch since 1968. The Unfiltered range was launched in 1998.

The Fleur du Cap portfolio includes Laszlo red blend, Unfiltered Range and Bergkelder Selection range.

Fleur du Cap is part of Distell Luxury Wines, a collection of superlative quality, award-winning wines from several boutique estates situated in and around the Cape Winelands.
