Our Vintage Wine Tastings have been so popular that we have decided to offer two more of these tasting experiences.
We will host a vertical tasting of 3 vintages of 4 different wines and offer insight into each year at Steenberg. We will then go through the different effects that terroir and bottle aging have on our wines.

Steenberg Spa March Special
Invigorate Treatment: This treatment starts with a back and neck exfoliation followed by a muscle releasing massage, melting away the tension. We know that a stressed muscular system can place unnecessary gravity on the facial muscles, often resulting in sagging skin, therefore we conclude the treatment with a bespoke facial designed with each guest's specific needs in mind.

The Meeting Room located at Steenberg Hotel is the perfect conference venue situated in the idyllic setting of vineyards and gardens. The Meeting Room can cater for meetings of up to 40 delegates.

#Harvest2017 Update
2017's harvest has found 5th gear with grapes arriving at our Cellar at full speed! We have harvested two thirds of our Sauvignon Blanc as well as a few young blocks of red grapes.
This harvest has shown a 70% increase in yield for white grapes compared to last year which means our winemaking team need to be very creative when it comes to creating space for each day's delivery of fresh grapes. If we continue at this rate, we will beat our record harvest from 2014!
In terms of quality, we believe this vintage to be the best in years! A cooler season (2.2 degrees cooler than last season) has been pegged as one of the reasons for the superior quality fruit we have received.
Africology at Steenberg Spa
A new treatment at Steenberg Spa is our Africology Copper and Hot Stone Deluxe Pedicure.
This luxurious African ritual begins by soaking the feet in an energy-balancing copper bath followed by a warm massage of the legs, reducing water retention and improving circulation. Hot stones and heated copper are used to massage, which helps penetrate and relax stiff muscles. An African potato mask is applied to the skin to soften rough areas and lock in moisture. The treatment also includes a shoulder massage.

Our March Product of the Month is Africology's range of Shea Body Balms.
Each body balm works to uplift the mind and balance the body through the powerful effects of essential oils. Infused with shea butter and unrefined beeswax, the balms are also excellent at softening, protecting and healing the skin. Available in Geranium, Lemongrass, Neroli and Ginger at R295 each.
Constantia Fresh Festival
Constantia Fresh took place on the 25th of February at Buitenverwachting Wine Farm and guests revelled in the delicious food and wine on offer. We showcased our wines and Chef Archie Maclean served his Kudu Carpaccio with courgette, red onion, buchu labneh, beetroot & horseradish slaw. A wonderful day was had by all!
