Zevenwacht Sauvignon Blanc 2016 receives a Gold Medal from the Grand International Wine Award MUNDUS VINI presented recently at Prowein.

Regarded as one of the leading competitions world-wide there were almost 6,200 wines from more than 150 wine growing regions entered this year. Judges from 44 countries spent four days critically assessing the wines, resulting in only the best 40 percent of wines receiving medals.

With only 61 of those medals being awarded to South African wines, the Gold Medal for our Zevenwacht Sauvignon Blanc 2016 is truly valuable and meaningful. "We are extremely happy with this award", says Jacques Viljoen, Zevenwacht Winemaker.

We continue to garner recognition for the distinctive quality of our Sauvignon Blanc which supports all our labours in the vineyards and endeavours to craft unique wines reflective of their terroir.
