Darling Cellars
The Pyjama Bush Rosé lends is name from the Pyjama Bush, a lovely pink wild flower that can be found in the fields of the Darling area. After the winter rains, the parched Cape sparkles. Carpets of daisies fill the landscape with colour. The Pyjama Bush is a pink wild flower (called agdae-geneesbos in Afrikaans) and is used for medicinal purposes.

Bringing together the best features of two fine grape varieties, Sauvignon Blanc and Grenache, this beautiful salmon coloured wine, shows vibrant notes of strawberries and raspberries.

Made in a soft, fruit driven style, this is a gentle, elegant wine with a fragrant bouquet and is an ideal companion for a hot summer’s day or a lunchtime braai. The Pyjama Bush is quaffable on its own and makes for a very suitable accompaniment alongside food such as asparagus, sushi, salads, Asian foods and other light meals.

This balanced expression of Sauvignon Blanc and Grenache is a must for wine lovers that like trying new wines. Get yours from the tasting room at Darling Cellars or a bottle store near you. Visit our website www.darlingcellars.co.za for more news on our wines.
