What more can you enjoy in one day? Join the members of the Helderberg Wine Route Classics Festival, sponsored by Nedbank Syfrets Private Banking, at Somerset College in Somerset West on Saturday 2 November and experience all of the above at one venue!
The array of quality wines from wineries located around the Helderberg Mountain will be available for tasting from 15:00 onwards. To match the superb wines there will be many palate-pleasing delicacies to sample at the Festival. Try delicious sea-fresh oysters with your favourite white wine or taste the award-winning Dalewood cheeses with your favourite merlot. Have fun sampling some of the finest locally grown olives, tapenades or pestos with the wine of your choice. Compare the delicate flavours of freshly smoked Three Streams salmon trout with one of the classic chardonnays on offer. Tempt your palate with the healthy and succulent taste of ostrich, complemented by your favourite red blended wine. To moderate the beautiful summer's day, cool down with a refreshing Karoo mineral water.
Once you have made your choice, fill a picnic hamper with your favourites, then sit back and relax on the lawns while listening to the world famous Soweto String Quartet.
