The Cruisers depart from the Stonehaven Harbour every half an hour, for 45-minute cruises.
Besides being able to enjoy wine tasting aboard the cruisers, there are also a number of cosy land options at Stonehaven on Vaal for you to enjoy. Included in these are the Wine Cellar, Wine Rooms near the banks of the Vaal River, Cosy Pub with fireplace and alfresco on the banks of the river, in the warm winter sun.
A perfect way to beat the winter blues, by taking yourselves down to the banks of the Vaal River at Stonehaven on Vaal, only 50-minutes from Jo’burg where the R100 ticket will give you access to both wine tasting aboard luxury cruisers and on land, including a tasting glass.
There is a good selection of optional meals from Stalls, including:- Farm Cheeses, home-made breads, deli, pâtés and dips; selection of hot meals perfect for wine pairing; chocolate and wine pairing; decadent Cake and Tea Garden; Brewed coffees infused with interesting options; wine ice cream and sorbet; roasting marshmallow stall; light meals and meals suitable for children. There is also the option of an a la carte restaurant available, with an extensive menu.
There will also be live music, stalls of interest, fun photo booths and complimentary entertainment for children. If visitors would like their child to accompany them on any of the boats, it is R50 for a Child’s Day Cruising Ticket for 17 years of age and younger. Children need to be accompanied by their parents aboard the cruisers.
No entry fee for designated drivers and children aged 18 years and younger.
So … see, swirl and sniff - great wine aboard premier Cruisers and on land, on Saturday 24th June 2017 from 12 midday to 8pm. Lots of cosy fireplaces and outdoor fires to warm yourselves around if it is snuggly type of day.
