RECIPE PAGE LAUNCHED ON OUR WEBSITE We’ve recently received some stunning recipe’s paired with our wines courtesy of blogger Elmarie Berry of Elmarie Berry Good Food. Tasting Room manager Ella Grimston of Bake Your Day is no slouch either when it comes to baking and desserts, so we’ve asked her to add a few of her own. And then there is obviously our own Avontuur Restaurant team, Melanie and Zunia who make food sing every day!
So, we’ve created a recipe space on our website where we can collect and keep our recipe’s! You are welcome to visit our new recipe page on our website and we’d love to hear from you if you have the perfect food pairing with one of our wines. Every recipe sent in to cobie@avontuurestate.co.za with a pic featuring our wine will be tested and if suitable, will be added to our recipe page. At the end of the year, the best recipe will win a wine prize for Christmas!
WINTER DINING AT AVONTUUR From 5-7 pm every Wednesday and Friday evening, its time for our Early Bird Special and we invite you to join us. Only R180 for a 2-course and R220 for a 3-course. Thereafter, we’re open for A-la-carte dining, if you’re in the mood for a more leisurely evening next to the fireplace.
