Perdeberg Wines
At the foot of the magnificent Paardeberg Mountain - named after the Cape Mountain Zebra that once roamed this beautiful region – and in the heart of a largely unspoilt area that is characterised by working farms and sweeping landscapes sits Perdeberg Cellar, which has just been refurbished to become a destination venue for any occasion.

During 2016, mounds of sand, brick and earth were dug up to pave the way for creating an exciting new destination venue at Perdeberg Cellar. Perdeberg has now opened its doors to welcome not only all its regular wine enthusiasts and buyers, but also anyone who wishes to use Perdeberg’s facilities for a special event. With an affordable, attractive range on offer, the venue boasts an impressive upstairs conferencing and events hall as well as a brand new, warm and inviting tasting room, along with beautiful gardens and lawns that can cater for anything from tutored tastings and small meetings to team building events, dream weddings and anything anyone cares to create.

First, there’s the warm and inviting Wine Tasting Centre with its ‘at-home’ ambiance. This is the perfect space for smaller and more intimate functions that can be set up and catered for. It is also ideal for pre-drinks before making your way up the dramatic wooden staircase that leads to the striking Chenin Blanc Hall upstairs.

The Chenin Blanc Hall, with its soft grey tones, beautiful ‘talking point’ chandeliers and French windows that lead out onto a balcony with landscape views, provides a beautiful blank canvas to create any theme and therefore offers something very special and exclusive. This elegant, sophisticated and versatile function room has been designed to cater for large functions, such as weddings, end-of-year corporate functions, industry seminars or art exhibitions.

We move outside to the landscaped Lawn Area, which is adjacent to the Wine Tasting Centre and the Barrel Cellar. Complete with an ornate fountain, this is the perfect garden setting for picnic-styled seating functions where Perdeberg can cater for anything from kiddies’ parties to birthday picnics and more.
In 2015, Perdeberg built its impressive Barrel Cellar, which is filled with hundreds of traditional wooden barrels in which the various cultivars languish and take their time to become award-winning wines. This venue offers an inspiringly rustic and unique space that can accommodate seated dinners or stand-up parties and cocktail evenings. The cellar will add that touch of magic to your celebration while your guests imbibe the unique aromas that abound in a working barrel cellar.

Back inside, Perdeberg also has two specially designed spaces that are ideal for meetings and small conferences:

The Quagga Room, beautifully designed with a horse-shoe shaped marble table and fully equipped with audio and visual support, is a modern setting for business meetings, tutored tastings or company brainstorm sessions. Full day and half day conference packages, which include a freshly prepared lunch and Perdeberg wines, are on offer for this space.

The Dry Land Board Room, also fully equipped with audio and visual support, is the perfect, private and sophisticated space for small business meetings, away from daily interruptions. You can order from the delicious menu, indulge in some award-winning Perdeberg wines and ensure that your meeting is utterly conducive and productive.

The team at Perdeberg will ensure that your function, big or small, will be personally taken care of and all needs met.
