Zevenwacht strikes gold at the 2017 International Wine & Spirits Competition

Two Gold Awards have been awarded to the Zevenwacht Syrah 2015 and Zevenwacht Sauvignon Blanc 2017, a Silver Outstanding for the 7even Syrah 2015, Silver Awards for the Zevenwacht Chardonnay 2016, Zevenwacht Cabernet Sauvignon 2014, Zevenwacht Chenin Blanc 2016 , 7even Sauvignon Blanc 2017 and 7even Pinotage 2015 and two Bronze Awards for the Tin Mine White 2016 and Tin Mine Red 2014.

The aim of the IWSC is to award excellence to wines and spirits worldwide as well as encourage recognition for quality products. Entries into the Competition are received from nearly 90 countries worldwide and each sample is tasted blind and judged according to its class.
As a result of the IWSC setting the international benchmark for quality, achieving an award in this competition is highly commended.

Zevenwacht are delighted with their results as it highlights the distinctive characteristics and quality across its range of wines. In particular the Gold Awards for Syrah and Sauvignon Blanc reflect the in-depth vineyard and cellar practices implemented to deliver specific varietal characteristics.
