Nederburg Auction - Donation of historic wine

Mark Norrish, Picardi Rebel GM Wine, has donated a 3L bottle of KWV Pinotage 1919 vintage, to be sold at the Nederburg Auction this month.
Norrish stated that he had opened a bottle [750 ml ] last year for some overseas visitors, and it was in good condition, with plenty molasses, and treacley flavours, but still with a wonderful structure . He was so delighted with the wine, that he decided to donate the 3lt to the Auction. For a wine that is 87 years young, someone is going to have a wonderful time consuming this.
"I think there will be plenty of action for this wine, what else do you give your Father or Uncle who was born in that year?” Norrish adds, ... and there will be more than enough for the whole family to have a couple of glasses. Cheers to that !!
