Established:  Badsberg Wine Cellar was established in 1951, among 23 members. Badsberg currently has 20 members.

Viticulturist:  Shazell van den Berg

Assistant Winemaker: Stian Victor

Vineyards: Currently 75% white and 25% red. 

New Plantings: Merlot, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc.

Soil Types: Rock, sandy loam, black turf, red mountain soil with rocky terrace.

Geography: Mild, warm summers with nights cooling off rapidly, especially along the mountainside.

Rainfall: Winter rainfall region with rainfall primarily between May and September. Average rainfall is approximately 1000mm per annum.

Regional Information: Badsberg is part of Badsberg Conservancy.
