Women in Wine
Kathy Jordan launched the Jordan Women in Wine Initiative in South Africa in October 2012. The top candidate, Lungiswa Sithole, still working in the hospitality industry has passed her Level 1 in Cape Town and is now starting on Level 2. Lungiswa’s enthusiastic passion, for wine and learning, made her an obvious choice as our first candidate. This means that Lungiswa regularly visits Jordan Wine Estate where she takes part in the activities on the farm, experiencing the seasonal activities on a wine estate.

Jordan Chameleon Research Bursary
Gary Jordan officially announced the details of the Jordan Chameleon Research Bursary at the launch of the maiden vintage of the Jordan Chameleon Rosé on 17th July 2007, at Den Anker Restaurant, Cape Town. The formation of this bursary was motivated by the recent exciting research carried out at Jordan Winery by scientists from the South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI).

Bumblebee Fund
The Bumble Bee Fund strives to better the quality of life of disabled children by enhancing their personal mobility and independence, in particular by providing or assisting in the provision of mobility aids. Jordan Wine Estate is actively involved in supporting those who ride the Cape Argus Cycle Tour each year to help raise funds for the Bumblebee Fund.
