tasting notes
Alluring nuances of cedarwood and cigarbox combined with concentrated dark berry fruit and iodine scents on the nose. Cassis, mulberry and spices on the palate. A full bodied, firmly structured wine with concentrated fruit, a balanced mouthfeel and a fresh after-palate typical to the Firgrove terrior from which the grapes derive.
ageing potential
The 2007 vintage yielded some of the best quality Cabernet Sauvignon fruit in years. This wine will develop for a further 5 - 10 years with careful cellaring.
