The variety of baking includes artisan breads such as Ouma’s bread, a Shiraz loaf, pot bread or fruited rye loaf and a tempting array of cakes and other confectionery. Visitors can relax on the stoep or in the garden, enjoying a Farm Tea complemented by a selection of treats from the Farm Shop.
The Farm Shop also offers a large selection of gift items exclusively designed for the estate, including hand-made stationery, books, Hanneli Rupert CDs, fine porcelain vases, hand-carved bread knives, spice-blends from the farm kitchen and La Motte’s own coffee blend. The range of Arômes de La Motte body products made from essential oils harvested on the estate, is also available as a wonderful gift idea. In season, fresh produce and flowers grown on the estate can be purchased.
