Today, the traditional dedication to the art of winemaking continues under the guidance of Hannes Myburgh, eighth-generation custodian of this seventeen-century national monument.
On visiting the Estate, make sure you join Trish in the Meerlust wine shop. Here you will be able to enjoy a relaxed tasting of our full range of wines. The wine shop boasts a photographic timeline of both the history of Meerlust and the history of the Cape.
Groups larger than 10 are required to make a reservation. Tastings are charged at R30 per person, and are refunded per person purchasing.
The tasting room is open from Monday to Saturday, except on public holidays.
