This is an easy drinking wine with plumbs and pepper on the nose, a nice round mouth feel, good tannins and fruity aftertaste.

ageing : Good for drinking now and would benefit from laying down.

about the harvest: The grapes were crushed and fermented on the skins to extract the colour before gentle bag pressing and racking to a combination of new and second fill American and French Oak barrels. The wine was allowed to undergo malolachtic fermentation and barrel maturation for 1 year. It was bottled in antique green bottles under screw cap and laid down for 4 months before release.
