Paradyskloof Grenache / Malbec / Shiraz 2011

The Paradyskloof Grenache / Malbec / Shiraz shows beautiful fruit aromas of predominantly cherries and raspberries. The wine is well structured with a good balance between the acidity and tannins with a terrific mouth-feel. The palate is dominated upfront by bright red fruit flavours with a lingering aftertaste of spices. Medium bodied in style, it has great texture and mouth feel and a long finish.

in the cellar : Fermentation takes place in closed tanks of +/- 10 000 litre where pump-overs are done every 4 hours. The wine stays in contact with the skins for between 5 and 6 days. After fermentation on the skin the skins are pressed and the wine is racked in 5th fill 300 litre French oak for +/- 8 months.
