Lutzville Diamond Collection Ebenhaeser 2010

Full bodied with soft ripe silky tannins which compliment the dark berry fruit and soft vanilla spice perfectly. A complex wine with a seductive long mocha finish.

Good food matches include game, beef and an old fashioned burger.

in the vineyard : The Ebenhaeser is an eclectic mix of Pinotage (33%), Shiraz (17%), Cabernet Sauvignon (17%), Ruby Cabernet (17%), Pinot Noir (8%) & Merlot (8%) and represents the best fruit which the Lutzville Valley has to offer.

in the cellar : Selected from specific plots within the Lutzville Valley - the grapes were identified in advance as the best examples of their kind, matured in new French and American oak for 12 months and left to gel and integrate for a further 6 months before release. The wine is named after the Ebenhaeser area where the vineyards are closest to the sea and produce our finest Pinotage grapes which make up the bulk of this blend.
