in the vineyard : Deep, well-drained Hutton and Clovelly soils. Planted on west-facing slopes. Trellised on a 5-wire Perold system.

about the harvest: Harvested mid-March 2011 at full ripeness (24.5° Balling).

in the cellar : The grapes were de-stemmed and cold-soaked for 2 days. It was inoculated with yeast and pumped over regularly. Malolactic fermentation & ageing in 2nd and 3rd fill French oak barrels. After 16 months, lightly filtered and bottled.
