While this label has been in existence for over twenty years its popularity has never receded, with perhaps its keenest endorsement arising out of its recent listing to the famous Moulin Rouge cabaret theatre in Paris, France.

The philosophy behind Blanc de Mer is a white wine for all occasions. By definition of its cultivar mix it is different and stands alone in the context of Cape white wine blends where no other Riesling dominant mix is available! While it is price effective it is not humble in its quality or status.

in the vineyard : Vintage 2013 followed from a particularly long and protracted winter which presented a late ripening season for most grape varieties, a situation which has realized some deliciously fruity white wines with confirmed racy structures.

in the cellar : This vintage enjoys a 52% Riesling component in the blend which is the highest proportion of Riesling in any vintage of Blanc de Mer to date. The balance comprises of 20% Viognier, 11% Chardonnay, 9% Sauvignon blanc, 6% Semillon and 2% Chenin blanc.
