This is a medium bodied red wine with red berries and delicate spiced strawberry compote on the nose. White pepper spiciness follows through on the palate with an elegant and lingering finish.

A versatile food wine and compliments poultry and red meat dishes, especially roasts, stroganoff, marinated steaks and lamb skewers with mushroom and rosemary.

in the vineyard : The well drained, decomposed sandstone soils is ideal for the cultivation of Cabernet Sauvignon. The winemaker also ensure special canopy management which resulted in berries with deep colour and lot of concentrated fruit flavours.

about the harvest: The Grapes are harvested from south-westerly facing vineyards in the Franschhoek valley.
