Nose: Typically Sauvignon Blanc but with a more diverse aroma profile from being picked a bit riper. It displays bananas, guava, ripe melon and litchi characteristics.
Palate: Fully balanced with enticing acidity to hold interest. It also offers up a beautiful, sweet concentration of fruit with herbaceous notes for added complexity.

ageing : Lovely on its own at any time and terrific with food. Particularly match it with salads, fish or poultry dishes.

This is the second vintage of Sauvignon Blanc in the Morgenster NU range of fruity styled and accessible wines made from young vines. It joins the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon single varietal wines under the NU Series 1 label which appeared from harvest 2012.

NU Sauvignon Blanc is an everyday wine made to suit a wide range of tastes and to add pleasure to any occasion and meal. Since the first Sauvignon Blanc vintage in Morgenster NU Series 1 was so popular in the tasting room, the Estate has produced more of the 2014 vintage in order to supply national trade.

in the vineyard : As the Estate’s Sauvignon Blanc vineyards are not producing yet, the 2014 vintage has been made from bought in grapes.
