Grande Provence Sauvignon Blanc 2015

This medium bodied, wine shows lots of fruit on the nose combined with greener aromas that is typical for Sauvignon Blanc from a cooler climate. Flavours of ripe fig and fruit is promonent on the palate and is well balanced by a zesty acidity. The wines finishes with a lingering aftertaste.

Enjoy this wine with vegetarian dishes, salads and lightly prepared seafood or chicken dishes. This is a lovely food wine, but can also be enjoyed on its own.

in the vineyard : Grapes are from specially selected vineyards in the Durbanville area. Cold air from the Atlantic Ocean flows through the hills of the region and cools the vineyards down after the warm summer days. Special attention is given to make sure that grapes are exposed to enough sunlight during the ripening period and results in full juicy berries, with lots of character and flavor.
