Cabernet from 2 areas in the Stellenbosch area combine the classic mineral qualities from Stellenbosch Mountain and ripe red berry flavours from Bottelary to form the basic structure of the blend . Shiraz from Agter-Paarl & Malmesbury fills out the structure with ripe fresh fruit flavours and delicate white pepper to combine with the cigar box from the Cabernet Sauvignon. Merlot intensifies the blend with dark chocolate and mocha flavours, while the Mourvèdre rounds off with soft ripe fruit. Further maturation will increase the complexity and the beautifully balanced fruit flavours will unfold.
