Pinot Noir has often been quoted as an exasperating variety for growers, winemakers and wine drinkers alike. It is sometimes said to be feminine, alluring or capricious but most of all it is that tantalizing desire to achieve richness with this grape which forces perseverance and ultimatley satisfies the Holy Grail of wine making. It is by comparison to the 1997 Tete de Cuvee a finer wine with classic subtlety, reflecting an aristocratic structure.
ageing : With loads of body it is a wine to age, which will eventually develop and display its excellent fruit and berry character.
