ageing : Drink within two years of the vintage.

about the harvest: Harvest Date: 2002 February and March

in the cellar : Four separate grape cultivars have been blended to produce this wine. Crouchen Blanc 42%, Clairette Blanc 31%, Grenache Blanc 20% and Muscat Frontignac 7%. This is a totally unique wine in South Africa. We have utilised what is possibly the only Grenache Blanc in South Africa. As the grape is not registered on the official cultivar list in South Africa, we have had to get special permission from the authorities to produce wine from this variety. The grapes were hand harvested fully ripe and whole bunch pressed.
