A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep, dense, purple colour. Concentrated, powerful nose packed with ripe berry, cherry, briary, tea-leafy characters. All repeat in the mouth with hints of vanilla, coffee bean and mouth filling ripe flavours. Deep textured yet finely structured and all in beautiful harmony. Some tasty, spicy, minty hints in the long firm finish. Very approachable and can certainly drink with satisfaction now, but will well reward some years in the bottle.
