in the vineyard : The grapes came from vineyards in the Helderberg and Durbanville areas, situated at altitudes ranging from 50 to 180 metres above sea level. The vines are grown as bush vines and were planted in 1985.

about the harvest: The grapes were picked by hand at 22,7Â°Balling on March 21.

in the cellar : In the cellar the juice fermented at 28Â°C for 8 days. After malolactic fermentation it was matured in second and third-fill casks for 12 months.
