Blues has revealed the menu for the evening which boasts a range of taste sensations "We discuss all the food and wine pairings in detail with both our wine farms and our chef to obtain a winning combination. With some of the best local ingredients, our guests will not be disappointed with the finalised menu" says Blues co-owner Chris Bertie. The menu for the Glen Carlou event will consist of the following delicious courses: a starter of mussel and clam chowder topped with crispy potato and leek salad, served with a Glen Carlou Sauvignon Blanc. For the main course, guests will be treated to a combination of Springbok served in two ways. This delicious course will be served with Glen Carlo Grand Classique To end off, a dessert of Pineapple Tarte tatin will be paired with a glass of Glen Carlou Weldor. Each evening event will commence at 19h30 with a wine tasting at the cosy bar area. There after guests will be treated to a 3-course meal with accompanying wines. Vegetarian options will also be available and tickets are R280 per person. Booking is essential. There will be two magnums up for grabs in a lucky draw, so all guests are asked to bring their business cards. Blues will also be donating a R1000 meal voucher for one lucky guest.
