The Cape Wine Auction - the social calendar event of the year - is an exhilarating global showcase of South Africa’s finest wines and a chance to buy things that money can’t ordinarily buy - all for a great cause. In 2017, the auction raised more than R22 million for education in the Cape winelands.
The Cape Wine Auction is a roving event. We like to keep things fresh and interesting, and we are utterly spoilt with the beautiful wine farms that surround us. Each year the event is held in a different farm, giving guests the chance to explore new and magnificent venues.
The RUSTENBERG Estate was founded in 1682 and is nestled in the valley of the Simonsberg Mountain in South Africa’s premium wine region, Stellenbosch.
RUSTENBERG’S rich heritage and ethos has been informed by many centuries of human influence striving to understand and work with nature to produce wines of distinct character true to their terroir, variety and informed style.
