This year the Garden Route and Cape Winelands District are the sought after routes for the inaugural 2015 Pink Trees for Pauline Vallei tot Vallei Cycle Tour, spearheaded by the registered cancer organisation Pink Trees for Pauline.
The unique route will start in Wilderness in the Garden Route, ending at the elegant Anthonij Rupert Estate in Franschhoek. Stretching over four days, the tour will end on 23 September with a five-star cocktail event at the estate.

As cyclists make their way up the avenue of trees on the estate, they will be ‘greeted’ by each tree enrobed in a beautiful pink wrapping in support of this worthy cause.

The aim of this first of its kind cycle tour is to raise awareness for Pink Trees for Pauline, as well as the needs of the cancer communities of South Africa.

Taking it up a notch all visitors to the Anthonij Rupert Estate during October will be treated to a complimentary tasting of the Protea Rosé and L’Ormarins Brut Rosé, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Furthermore, 10% of proceeds made from the sale of these pink wines in October will be donated to the Pink Trees for Pauline organisation.
