Anthonij Rupert Wine Estate
Suitable
for the whole family, but with a few extra special treats in store for Dad, set
the scene for his day with a relaxed journey onboard our tram for a scenic
drive through the Estate’s vineyards as you make your way to the Franschhoek
Motor Museum situated on our adjacent farm, L’Ormarins Estate. The museum is
home to more than 100 years of motoring history with its unique and exciting
collection of vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles and memorabilia. Vintage cars
include a 1903 Ford and a 1935 Rolls Royce, whilst fans of the more modern
luxurious cars can look forward to catching a glimpse of a 2002 Ferrari or the
2003 Mercedes Benz CLK DTM AMG.
Make
your way back on the tram to the Terra del Capo Antipasto Bar for a wine tasting and delectable Italian feast of mixed
Antipasti, Crispy Fried Squid with Aioli, assorted cold Cured Meats,
Artisanal Cheeses, and freshly baked breads - all served harvest-style in the
middle of the table. For dessert, we'll be serving a classic Tiramisu.
Bookings
for this memorable day are essential as seating is limited, with two booking
slots (10am and 12pm) available. The cost is R180 per adult and R120 for
children under the age of 12 years.
