After conducting some
of the country’s finest tastings in their underground cellar for more than a
decade, Wine Cellar enlisted the help of interior design company
Xperiencemakers to transform a large upstairs area into a bright, spacious, new
tasting room. The room boasts wooden
floors, high ceilings and a mood wall at each end – one overlaid with rugged stones
from the Sijnn property in Malgas, and the other featuring an enormous photograph
of vineyards at the foot of the Helderberg Mountains.
Wine Cellar’s
upcoming Cape Town event schedule includes an Eagles’ Nest vertical, as well as
tastings of Le Riche, Raats MR de Compostella, leading Alsace wines and more. The
