Seventeen of the best Cab Franc producers enjoyed the day with devotees of this niche varietal, sharing their knowledge and their wines with an enthusiastic crowd.
The Top six Cabernet Franc wines, as chosen by an independent panel at this year’s Cab Franc Challenge, were presented in tutored tastings by Avontuur winemaker Jan van Rooyen to a lucky group of festival visitors, who learnt more about the varietal and styles at these tastings. The exhibitors were happy with their exposure and we look forward to more Cabernet Franc specific events in future.
