Haute Cabriere
I can’t remember but I feel that the Haute Cabrière was the first to introduce a Chardonnay Pinot Noir blend using the two great Burgundian grapes in the production of which, this Franschhoek Appellation Wine Estate specialises.

These two grapes are the strong foundation on which the Estate’s Pierre Jourdan Cap Classique Wines are based. The Chardonnay lends its elegance and stature while the Pinot Noir lends its fabulous red berry fresh fruit.

The vintage of the Haute Cabrière Chardonnay Pinot Noir 2016 provided top quality wine grapes with perfect harmony of fruit and acidity which so helped Cellarmaster Takuan von Arnim in his quest to produce a fine expression of the Estate’s mantra of Sun, Soil, Vine & Man.
