The Breedekloof area near Ceres in the Western Cape is set to receive a new culinary addition this March with the launch of Bosjes Kombuis, a daytime eatery under the guidance of chef Pete Goffe-Wood.

The former restaurateur, cookbook author and MasterChef SA judge, who collaborated on the six-course menu at the 2016 Eat Out Mercedes-Benz Restaurant Awards and mentored and consulted at Makaron, will be in charge of designing the menu for this lunch-only spot.

Nestled between the Slanghoek and Waaihoek mountain ranges, the new Bosjes development be an architectural revamp of the old Bosjesmans Valley Farm, with a strikingly modern, glass-walled chapel, garden, restaurant and guesthouse. The farm, which produces wine grapes, olives, peaches and proteas, is open to day visitors as well as overnight guests and is promises to be an ideal venue for weddings and other celebratory occasions.
