This is a complex, exciting wine with hints of mint and prune aromas.
The grapes were hand picked and the wine was matured in 50% new French oak barrels for 14 months. This delicious wine with its rich, dark purple colour has violets, spice and aniseed aromas. Hints of mint and prunes contribute to a complex, exciting wine. The tannins are firm and well integrated. Bottled in September 2008.
Serve with mint lamb, roast potatoes, cheese or black cherries.
