in the vineyard : Climate: Long cold and wet winter with warmer temperatures during harvesting.
Soil: A mixture of decomposed granite, Hutton, Clovelly and sandy soils.
Yield: ± 4 tons/ha - serious damage to vines in November 2009 due to very strong winds and excessive rains.

in the cellar : All grapes were vinified on Kanonkop and fermented at 15°C.
