Medium bodied Pinotage with cool climate character of red fruit, like strawberries and raspberries with light spice from 2nd and 3rd fill barrels.

This Pinotage would be good with steaks, braais and ribs. Also very nice with sweet bastings.

ageing : Three to five years.
in the cellar : The estate red is all made with the same style: hand harvested, destalked and cold soaked over night. Inoculated with selected yeasts, with pump-overs every 3 hours. Removed off the skins at optimum stages and aged in 2nd and 3rd fill French barrels for 12-15 months.
