Orange River Cellars Lyra Irsai Oliver Sparkling

A wine that absolutely stuns with its individuality! A unique sparkling wine produced from the Hungarian varietal, Irsai Oliver. Stunning Muscat aromas combine with Turkish delight and white rose petals. The palate is delicate and extremely well balanced.

Enjoy chilled as a pleasant welcome drink, a wine for celebration or after dinner with dessert. Bring on the summer.

in the cellar : Upon arrival at the cellar the grapes were crushed and destemmed and received a very light press. Only free run juice was used and inoculated with a special yeast strain, selected for its ability to enhance the unique characteristics of the varietal. The juice slowly fermented at a cool 12°C until the perfect level of sweetness and acidity was reached. This allowed for the development of the undeniably moreish muscat aromas and flavors. All agreed that the ideal sweet spot for the wine is between 30 and 40 g sugar per liter.
