The wine is a brilliant yellow straw colour. Vibrant aromas of cut green pepper, white grapefruit, peach, and wheat grass follow through on a very crisp entry to a tart, dryish light-to-medium body with kumquat, crabapple and a hint of tar. Finishes with tart, quenching lemon juice and hay notes on the drying fade.

in the vineyard : Grapes for our whites wine are being obtained increasingly from new vineyards in the cool Koekenaap/Lutzville area. Sauvignon Blanc grapes are picked at full ripeness as we aim for complexity and mouthfeel. This can be achieved in cool areas without sacrificing the essential Sauvignon Blanc character. The Sauvignon Blanc thus far showing good acidity, cultivar character and depth of flavour.
