Fruit and tropical aromas leap from the glass. Intense flavours of ripe peach and hints of kiwi fruit on the palate together with a fresh, crisp acidity makes this wine well balanced. Enjoy on any occasion.

in the vineyard : The 2011 vintage will go down in history as windy, dry and hotter than normal. At Simonsig the yield was 33% more than 2010. The vintage kicked off on 13 January with the Pinot Noir for Kaapse Vonkel.

about the harvest: We started harvesting Sauvignon Blanc during the first week of February and the grapes showed riper fruit aromas and lovely tropical notes with less racy herbaceous flavours.

in the cellar : A new blend of Sauvignon & Semillon was started in 2001 following in the style of the famous white Bordeaux Wines. It is the sister wine of the well known Simonsig Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot blend.
