Beau Joubert Cabernet Sauvignon 2009

An intense, full-bodied wine, aged for 18 months in small French-Oak barrels. Deep blackberry, currant and dark fruitcake flavours are enveloped by subtle spice, leather and smokiness. The balanced acid and elegant, yet firm, tannins, together with the variety of ripe fruit make this wine superbly complex, gorgeously approachable and wonderfully age worthy.

Roasts, and red meat stews are just two glorious pairings for this masterpiece.
