in the vineyard : Our Diamond Collection Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from a single vineyard in the Koekenaap. The Koekenaap is one of the coolest pockets in the Lutzville valley and is situated close to the Atlantic Coast. This particular vineyard was selected due to the high amount of pyrazines (which give the distinctive flavour of the Sauvignon Blanc) in the grapes.

about the harvest: When the berries were ready for harvesting, the grapes were picked at midnight to ensure that the grapes were pressed at their best.

in the cellar : After vinification, the juice was left on the lees for 3 weeks before being racked and left to settle in tank. The lees contact helps to give the Sauvignon Blanc its elegant mouthfeel.
